Andrew Afeaki says:
It is because he was a very sharp man (that Pousima Afeaki was described as leader of the opposition). He may not have had as much schooling as you and I, even secondary schooling. But he used his mind, he was for ever probing issues and thoughts. He had said to me once, you don’t know how lucky you are to have had all the schooling you have had. You don’t know what it is, he said, to be sleepless for two or three nights, because I am groping for something in my mind that I know is there but my mind could not fathom it out. But your schooling allows you to go to the crux of issues with no problem at all. But, he said, I never had that.
